The Senior Compensation Analyst will be primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the global total rewards function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with our overall total rewards strategy at Descartes. This role will have a heavy focus on compensation systems management. This position will play an important role in executing compensation programs and providing support to the global HR team on compensation-related matters. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, this position will support total rewards initiatives across North America, LATAM, EMEA, and APAC. Responsibilities: Lead implementation and administration of compensation related systems including the SuccessFactors Compensation Module. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure the system and ensure smooth implementation and roll-out. Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to employees. Oversee the administration of our equity compensation program in Shareworks, ensuring accurate record-keeping, timely grant processing, and compliance. Lead global compensation survey submissions. Participate in salary surveys and benchmarking studies to gather market data and assess the competitiveness of our compensation programs, providing recommendations for adjustments as needed. Provide support for job architecture initiatives. Create and maintain job descriptions for job families and career paths. Support the creation of competency frameworks. Stay abreast of global legislation on pay equity and transparency, ensuring our practices remain compliant with regulatory requirements. Develop comprehensive analytics on global total rewards including compensation analytics and benefits. Collaborate with global HR team on M&A initiatives such as reviewing compensation during due diligence and post-close integration. Serve as a backup to the Director, Total Rewards for payroll approvals and strategy. Support ad-hoc projects on various aspects of total rewards including benefits and payroll management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, and relevant certification (e.g., CCP, GRP) is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation administration and operations, preferably in a multinational organization. Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is a plus. Experience with SuccessFactors compensation module or similar HRIS platforms. Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interpret complex data to make informed decisions on total rewards strategies and effectively communicate outcomes. Strong adaptability to evolving business needs, with a proven track record of flexibility and agility.
