What you'll do · As a Senior Cloud Automation Developer, you will be working with a cross-functional team including developers, product managers, quality engineers and release engineers to support the validation and release of new products and features. · Tasks include planning and executing tests, defining test scopes, and implementing strategies for pipeline-based tests in CI/CD scenarios. · The role requires a mix of both manual and automated testing using existing frameworks. · Define quality targets and implement quality KPIs in order to assess quality and compliance status. · Create transparency and awareness of quality status with stakeholders and give recommendations for release/deployment decisions. · Support other members of the team, including interns, on proper test creation, execution, and reporting. What you will bring · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required. · Strong knowledge of Linux SysAdmin, comprehensive experience with Linux in system management and development, including crontab, bash, core utilities, package managers, screen/tmux, grep, awk, sed, ssh, rsync, etc… · Good in Bash, Python or JavaScript · Container skills & experiences (preferable also with container orchestration with Kubernetes) · Working knowledge of any one Cloud Platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP · Experience with version control tools, such as Git, Jenkins/github-action and CI. · Experience in enterprise quality assurance roles. · Strong knowledge of test tools and approaches, including automated testing framework such as JMeter · Some background in CI/CD pipelines, how quality checks play a part in them, and how to operate a sustainable process for monitoring results. · A track record of quickly understanding complex technical software with the goal of identifying both common and edge case scenarios. · Experience designing and creating test data preferred. · Comfortable resolving complex issues within own area of expertise and supporting others in resolving issues. · Constant drive to build skills beyond your own core functional focus and working on other tasks for the benefit of the team. · Good communication skills; must be able to clearly describe status to both experts and outsiders. · Fluency both written and spoken in English We highly value · Leadership through innovation in everything you do · Passion for your work and being self-critical to continuously improve · Behavior of an owner and evangelist · Relentless commitment to win · Personal and corporate integrity ​ Bring out your best SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
