The ESG Manager plays a vital role in being responsible for environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance (ESG) in Brazil. This position involves crafting and implementing educational and communication plans to increase awareness internally and externally, as well as supporting local communication teams. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for developing and owning the ESG framework strategy for Brazil, striving to promote the adoption of effective practices in line with ESG pillars. Close collaboration with the ESG Brazilian Committee is a key aspect of this role. This role will encompass leading all aspects of local processes related to product donations, financial support, and grants. It will also involve leading local volunteering initiatives and community support programs.. The manager will additionally be responsible for coordinating environmental sponsorships and collecting evidence from diverse local areas to support the narrative. Ensuring compliance with global and regional policies and guidelines, as well as collaborating with cross-functional sectors such as HR, EHS, and GHE, is of utmost importance. Lastly, this role leads and establishes partnerships with external entities and does activities to ensure the company's position as a leader in social and environmental responsibility. Key Responsibilities: * Education & Communication: Develop promotion and awareness plans for employees and leaders through communication, training, workshops, and educational initiatives. Develop content for intranet, presentations, and media. * Governance & Strategy: Create and oversee the ESG strategy for the country. Identify areas for improvement and explore new possibilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote the adoption of effective practices related to ESG pillars. Support the ESG Brazil Committee. * Local Impact (community & environment): Collaborate with the GHE team to develop and implement a local impact strategy. Facilitate local product donation and financial donation processes, including brand actions related to mission support or emergencies and adherence to incentive laws. Take the lead in organizing local volunteering actions, programs, or campaigns, and support the communications team in awareness and faith weeks initiatives. Oversee local projects and programs, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate policies for donations, including DD, contract approvals, reports, and records in systems. Foster collaboration with GHE teams and leadership. Partner with the EHS Brazil team to promote sustainable actions, projects, and identify potential opportunities. Explore and establish new partnerships for environmental activations. * External engagement: Propose and establish potential partnerships with entities, organizations, and associations, and represent the companies in external ESG forums and committees when appropriate. Propose, evaluate, and respond to customer surveys and rankings for ESG-related topics. This role required to travel domestically 20% of time.Love this role?
