We are searching for the best talent for External Affairs Manager (2 vacants) to be in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Purpose: This exciting position plays a key leadership role, developing external affairs strategies, execution plan and external stakeholders' engagement for addressing healthcare system challenges and enable broad patient access to medical innovation. This position also plays a key role in partnering internally with LATAM stakeholders to provide local perspective, to support the development of enterprise policy positions. You will be responsible for : • Develop and implement strategies to address healthcare system challenges related to HTA, pricing, and reimbursement. • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of external affairs initiatives. • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including trade associations and other entities working groups' specialists. • Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare policies, regulatory frameworks, and market access issues. • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on strategic opportunities and risks. • Develop HEOR studies and provide input on their design and execution. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree required in a business or life sciences related discipline. • 5-8 years of multi-disciplinary experience and functional expertise should include depth in a healthcare area such as marketing, government affairs/public policy, pricing, reimbursement, medical affairs, market access, HEOR, regulatory affairs. • Deep understanding of the Brazilian Healthcare market, including HEOR, HTA, pricing, and reimbursement processes and challenges. • English written & spoken. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Solid Networks and Stakeholder Engagement in the Brazilian healthcare system. • Experience working with government agencies and regulatory bodies. • Demonstrated leadership results both with direct and/or indirect reports (e.g. multifunctional teams). Experience leading and managing in a matrix environment required. • Leads through influence; can integrate and mobilize multi-functional teams; strong ability to build and maintain long-term relationships; takes ownership and assumes the responsibility of the outcomes/results; makes things happen; organizational savvy.
