Purpose: The Sr EHS Engineer for Deliver, will support multiple business functions seeking to optimize EHS resource deployment against strategic objectives. She/he will partner and routinely collaborate with country/company Deliver leadership in LATAM EHS team, Engineering & Property Services (EPS), Facilities Management, Supply Chain, Rand external service providers to clarify and agree on roles and responsibilities and support the development of strategies and execute tactical plans that support the health and safety of employees based in Deliver in the LATAM region. The candidate is highly customer-focused and able to effectively communicate and network at all levels and successfully operate in multiple cultures. Responsabilities: * Reporting to the EHS DELIVER LATAM Manager, will support EHS management programs for Medtech and Innovative Medicine Latin America Logistics Operations supporting approximately 38 Deliver sites. * Identifies and implements strategies to close compliance gaps in existing deliver safety processes and programs. * Implement, maintain and improve EHS processes, in accordance with current Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental legislation, supporting the regional EHS team. * Coordinate and carry out analysis of projects to be implemented, together with other technical areas, recommending changes, aiming to eliminate or minimize risks of accidents and occupational diseases in accordance with J&J Standards and local regulations. * Carry out safety inspections in J&J LATAM's Logistics Operations, technical training applicable to the business and technical training of leadership in EHS. * Support EHS audit processes in Logistics Operators (3PL), in accordance with local regulations. * Coordinate the implementation of global EHS training, as well as employee engagement initiatives (Accident Prevention, Environment, Fleet Safety, Sustainability Month, etc.). * Support the Environment process in accordance with J&J standards and legal requirements. * Support J&J's global reporting process (Curve, Power BI, Projects, CAPAs, Planisware) in defined systems. * Execute the EHS strategy, implementing, leading, and executing plans, goals and actions in alignment with deliver EHS standards and local/regulatory requirements with an aim at reducing Severe Injury/Fatalities (SIFs) within set targets. * Partner with Procurement to provide EHS guidance in the selection process and governance of 3PL's. * Support the development of training matrix of company and regulatory requirements, tracking, reporting, and development of educational and awareness campaigns. * Identify and implement digital solutions that influence the risk perception and the proper behavior of our associates in terms of safety, well-being, and sustainability. Qualifications: * A minimum of bachelor's degree in EHS technical field is required; * A minimum 5 years of experience in EHS in similar roles; * Certifications in EHS (ISO 14:000 / ISO 45:000); (D) * Desirable FPX certification; * Experience with local, state & federal regulatory authorities; * Experience with data reporting and tracking systems; * Advanced English and Spanish required; * Strong verbal and written communication skills; * Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills required; * Strong leadership abilities including mastering complexity and motivation and empowerment of others is required; * Availability for national and international travel 25% of the time.
