Their business today is primarily focused on Brazil, yet aimed to also expand across Spanish LatAm in the medium term. They currently have offices in Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, London, Lisbon, Barcelona, Montevideo, and Tel Aviv. Purpose of the role: We are looking to hire a BI Lead who will be a part of the business leadership team in Brazil, providing the team with insights to drive fact-based decisions.Deliver against the ongoing data requirements of the business and provide the support necessary to deliver commercial success, while taking the steps necessary to future proof the data capability.Own and lead the data agenda for the business and personally take responsibility for its timely availability through personal efforts and / or through the supporting team. Responsibilities: Drive fact-based decisions through dashboards, reports and analytics. Be the prime stakeholder for all things data in the Brazil region. Work with the data team to transform data to support business priorities – reporting, CRM analytics, Web analytics (Google Analytics), Media analysis, etc. Ad hoc analysis – conduct ad hoc analysis to address specific business questions. Work with various stakeholders to ensure Advanced Analytic predictions are used to improve business results. Mentor employee development and manage performance. Work with your peers across the region to ensure consistency and best practice adoption. Requirements: Strong business and commercial background. Proven track record as a BI leader who is a partner to the business. Ability to unpack business problems and get to “the answer”. Deep understanding of DW technologies and processes. Familiar with DW as hub for B2C CRM and Analytics. Excellent SQL skills – specifically BI SQL. Good understanding of web analytics. Ability to manage priorities and stakeholder expectations.
